Camp dates, times and location are subject to change.
If you have to cancel your camp registration for any reason ON or BEFORE 12:00 pm midnight on Friday, May 26, 2023, you will be issued a camp VOUCHER less a $125 administrative fee and any Resident Camper deposit amounts, valid for two (2) years from the date of issuance. Your VOUCHER is transferable to any family member and good for any USJDP program. If you should cancel AFTER 12:00pm midnight on Friday, May 26, 2023, no VOUCHER will be issued and all monies paid will be forfeited. Cash refunds will be given only if you have purchased Cancellation Protection as outlined below. No cash refunds or VOUCHERS will be given for willful absences, no-shows, or expulsions. No cash refunds or VOUCHERS will be issued for Resident Camper deposit amounts.
The USJDP offers our camp families "peace-of-mind" Cancellation Protection for $150 per camp, due at the time of registration. Cancellation Protection entitles you to a REFUND of camp fees paid to date, not including monies paid for the Cancellation Protection fee, a $125 administrative fee and any Resident Camper deposit amounts, should you cancel your camp registration ON or BEFORE 12:00pm midnight on Friday, May 26, 2023. Should you cancel your camp registration AFTER 12:00pm midnight Friday, May 26, 2023, and before camp starts on Sunday, June 18, 2023, we will give you a VOUCHER for all camp fees paid to date, not including the Cancellation Protection fee, $125 administrative fee and any Resident Camper deposit amounts, valid for two (2) years from the date of issuance. Once camp starts on Sunday, June 18, 2023 all Cancellation Protection policies expire. Your VOUCHER is transferable to family members and good for any USJDP program.
Additional Camp Covid-19 Policies:
Should the camp be cancelled due to State or Federal Government mandates, or facility mandates, due in part or full to Covid-19, the participant may choose between a full credit to any future USJDP Event (transferable/no expiration), or a refund less the $125 processing fee as outlined above.
Should the location and/or date change due to State or Federal Government mandates, or facility mandates, due in part or full to Covid-19, participants electing not to attend will receive a full refund minus a $125 administrative fee, and any Resident Camper deposit amounts, as outlined above.
Due to the on-going uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic, the USJDP will not process any registrations for full payment before June 1, 2023. All registrations submitted prior to that date will only be processed the $500/week deposit amount.
Injuries can be a natural occurrence in a contact sport such as hockey and because of this we cannot issue refunds for injuries. Additionally, refunds will not be granted for injuries occurred at other camps and try-outs prior to the start of this camp. It is the players responsibility to show up to camp in shape physically and ready to compete.
Players will be on the ice 4 hours per day and in the DU Varsity Weight room for another 3 hours per day. It is expected that since you applied to the camp, and were subsequently accepted, that you are self-driven (we are not babysitters), looking for a camp with an intense focus, and that you are physically, and mentally, prepared for the daily rigors of this program.
Acceptance emails will be sent upon registration.
