The U.S. Junior Development Program provides the most comprehensive, elite player development program in the United States offering development camps, international tournaments and summer leagues.

We believe that to advance to Junior and/or College hockey, a young elite-level player must train with bigger, better, faster and stronger players. It is our goal to provide these older, elite players just that: a comprehensive training and competition-based program that provides the optimal balance between intense, age appropriate skill development and world class competition.

Our flagship program, the Boys Junior Prep Camp, focuses on pure player development. The Prep Camp is run on the campus of Colorado College in Robson Arena, the newest and most high-tech NCAA D1 hockey facility in the U.S., with a staff of NHL, NCAA and Junior coaches, and utilizes one of the most advanced weight rooms in America to provide a high-intensity, physically demanding player development environment.

To compliment the pure player development the Prep Camp provides, we have incorporated a competition-based aspect to our program by putting together the USJDP Selects Team that competes in some of the most prestigious International Junior Hockey Tournaments around the world.

In addition, we have created a summer long development league that gives current high school and junior aged players looking to play after Juniors the chance to develop their creativity, goal scoring and playmaking abilities in a fast, fun, risk-free environment.

Over the past 20 years, players from over 20 different countries have participated in our programs, including players from Russia, Latvia, Switzerland, Belarus, Austria, Germany, France, Mexico, Slovakia, England, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Japan, Hong Kong, the Czech Republic and of course the US and Canada.

We believe this development heavy model provides the requisite training every young player needs to take the next step in their developmental journey towards college hockey and beyond.

As Paul Coffey so eloquently said, “Nobody's a natural. You work hard to get good and then work to get better. It's hard to stay on top.”

We couldn’t agree more as that is our core motto… Never stop training!
